Enlightenment to Democracy (Blog #13)

American democracy was a logical outgrowth of Enlightenment ideas. These ideas formed the basic foundation of the fledgling American Government.

Your Assignment:

Explain, in your own words, why or how these enlightenment ideas helped in forming our democracy that we enjoy today. (Make sure you hit on both enlightenment ideals and what they are. Also, explain democracy and how that ties in with these ideals.)
