The causes of the French Revolution surround two main areas of interest. Those two areas include social and economic inequalities in the Old Regime.

2). Explain what groups of people made up each of these classes.
3). State reasons why the classes, and the discord among some, helped lead to the French Revolution.

1.) There were 2 privilidged estates and a third Estate.

3.)The lower classes were treated poorly and people got sick of it eventually.

1.) There were the Privileged Estates (2). Then 97% of the people belonged to the Third Estate, which included a lot of peasants.

The Third Estate - Bourgeoisie, bankers, factory owners, merchants, professionals, and skilled artisans, and peasants who formed 80% of the third estate.
3.)There was a growing resentment among the lower classes. They were eager for change because they had to pay taxes on basics such as salt. They also paid dues to nobles, tithes to the church, and taxes to the king's agents.

3. The classes helped start the French Revolution by the government treatign them different and spoiling one class and treating others unfairly. Also, new ideas about government, serious economic problems, and weak and indecisive leadership all helped generate a desire for change. The best way they could think of how to do this was to start a revolution.

3. The lower classes were angry because that had been abused and wanted their rights. THe Nobles felt angry towards the Clergy because now that science had proven several religious things lies. Since the clergy had not any power any more, they wanted it. Thus the revolution begins and utter chaos.

3.the old peasant farmers got tired of being pushed arround by the rich and the clergies of roman catholic churches and went to fight them with their own battle. the peasants went to get help from other peasants and soon they had enough people to start a war, so they did. they started shooting guns at each other. the rich people finaly decided to stop because they realized that they could get along and still have power in ways

3) The lower classes were treated poorly by the higher classes. The third estate was tired of being overtaxed and told what to do even if they had money. They were poor and struggling for food. This caused them to be bitter and revolt. Also, the spread of the Enlightenment ideas helped start the French Revolution.
