4.) Judging from Sources B and C, what was it like for the average soldier in the trenches? Explain how you think such experiences affected the average soldier's view of war.

2.As proven by written documents, Germany tried to get Mexico to declare war on the USA. Since Germany,a nation that was already hated by the USA for sinking civilian ships with submarines, tried to get Mexico to declare war on the USA, that was enough to convince most Americans to go to war with Germany.

4.Well i think it changed there minds alot about war because the trenches were terrible, they had rats and mud and dead bodies so like when they ate it was like eating mud and blood instead of food.

ReplyDelete2) Woodrow Wilson wanted to join the war for the safety of democracy. He didn't want to gain anything for the U.S. but wanted all of man kind to have democracy and rights.
3) They wanted to arise hatred towards Germany. This person wanted to form distrust of Germany in order to win.
4) The average soldier was usually in very harsh conditions. Most men died from this. Not only did they die but it was a cruel, inhumane death. The soldiers did not expect this type of warfare. This made them more vulnerable and also made a terrible situation seem even worse.
2.)Wilson thought that the world had to be a lot safer for democracy to be successful here.

4.)As an average soldier, they must have saw a lot. Their descrpitions tell you everything about it. You can see bodies slamming into the ground lifeless. It probably changed the average soldier's view of war because there was so much to witness. A war of tragedies.

3)that it was living hell. soldiers were caught in the wire in the trenches and were blown to pieces by machineguns. then came the gas the made people choked that breathed the deadly poison. that if you didn't get to the masks in time, you will face certain death.

4. From what i read from this i think that the soldiers in the trenches were scared, worried, and questiony. They pry have a dfferent look at the war then some of the other because they were close to it. They had to be in the ground making sure that they didn't let any one get over the trench alive.
