1. They were dropped in 1945 in the month of August. Their were two bombs dropped one in Hiroshima and the second one in Nagasaki.
ReplyDelete2.President Truman's decision to bomb Japan was not well thought through. He probaly should have thought about it more and talked to Japan leaders to try and work something out. My opinion is that it was wrong at that moment, it would have been smarter and better if he would have tried something else first.

1) The first bobmbing hppened August 6, 1945 and the second on August 9, 1945. These two events are the only active deployments of nuclear weapons in war to date. Two million lives have been lost. the countries major cities were destroyed by the bombings and turned them into blackened wastelands. The Allies had ruined the colonial empire.

1.) The atomic bombs that were dropped on Japan were only a retaliation of the attack on Pearl Harbor. These bombs did no damage to Japan's war capability, but it did get the United states a propaganda victory.

Well, i think that President Truman's decision to drop the bombs could have been really risky because maybe, Japan could have tried to attack back and the Japanese may have actually made it to the U.S that time. But then again it was a good idea that he decided to because it was an end to the attack on Pearl harbor. A "Haha got you back" sort of thing.

ReplyDelete2) I think that was a wise decision in that it ended the war between the U.S. and Japan. Although it caused many casualties, it prevented many more that would have come. With every good comes a little bad so this just had to be done.

ReplyDelete2.) Yes. Japan needed something bad to happen to them because they were treating us like their red-headed step child. I think it was a wise one because it was a risky one. The riskier the decision the higher the consequenced are. Whether they be good or bad.
