ReplyDelete2. A concentration camp was more of a slave-labor camp. And an extermination camp is mostly just where the Jewish people were killed.
3. The theme of this quote is from his experiences. He has seen the death of his fellow people and he is reflecting on what he saw there.
4. I think that the Holocaust was a horrible occurence during WWII. Just the thought of tens of thousands of innocent Jewish people being enslaved, malnourished, and burnt to death just baffles my mind.

ReplyDelete2. A concertration camp was a harsh camp where the jews hard to work hard with little food. Extermintation camp was a place used to kill jews by gassing, burning, or even shooting the Jewish people.
3. About her experience with the Holocaust and what she witnessed. It speaks of how she will never forget what she saw.
4. It was dumb inocent people were killed for no reason. Some were tortured for years, and went through a ton of pain. It was probably the worst of cruelty ever witnessed in human history. Should never be forgotten.

4) I think it's so cruel. I'm not sure what Hitler thought he would acomplish by killing all the Jews. Just a lot of dead people. I mean obviously it's not a certain kind of people that cause a country's problems, it's the government and ALL the people that live in that country. The way they were killed is just so inhumane that it makes me sick. It should've never ever happened.

ReplyDelete2) At a concentration camp people were forced to work for the Germans, mostly towards the war effort, at an extermination camp, they were loaded on trains, halled to the camps and slaughtered.
3) What she saw in a concentration camp.
4) Hitler was a fool, all humans are equal in the eyes of God, even if they don't believe in Him, therefore the slaughter of any of them is unneccessary.
1) Hitler decided he wanted to start and new racial order. He viewed Germanic people (Aryans) as the "master race", and anybody, specifically Jews, who weren't Aryan were "inferior" and deserved to die.
ReplyDelete2) A concentration camp were more like dismal, overcrowded ghettos and the Nazis hoped that the Jews would die of starvation and disease. An extermenation camp is where the Jews would go and be killed off immediately.
3) The burning of childern's bodies in a mass grave. He will never forget what he saw. He will never forget what he felt.
4) It was a very tragic but very important part of our history. Because of it the Jews vowed "Never again" and are now one of the strongest and most resilient countries/people in the world.
