the revolutions in tunisa. it is the same as the french revolution because the people of the country didnt like their leader and the only thing they could do about it is to revolt against their leader.
ReplyDeleteRight now there is a revolution going on in Egypt. I think that this is very similar to the French revolution. The ruler of Egypt is a dicatator and has all the power in that country. This was the same during the French revolution, people grow tired of one person with all the power or the ruler abuses his power.

ReplyDeleteThe US in the present day is very similar to the Scientific Revolution. We have made many advancements in the past few years that are phenomenal. The advancement of the computer is very similar to the technologies that were made during the Scientific Revolution. Both were very ahead of their time. I bet that the time we are in now is called a revolution later in life and will have a big fancy name.

1. The French Revoltion, is a lot like the Revolt in Egypt. French people and Egypt people are a lot a like because they both are getting controlled by their dictater. The rulers of the countries are causing riots and deaths. The rulers need to think more about their people so there aren't so many deaths.
ReplyDeleteThe people from Egypt are currently in a Revolution right now. He is not handling the situations right and the angry mobs are starting to show it. It's much like the French Revolution because the people keep going back to revolting every day because they did not believe their leader was making any good decisions either.

ReplyDeletethe printing press is used today to spread the ideas of what is happening arround the world. back in the days of enlightenment the printing press was used to spread the ideas of the scientific revolution. but today the printing press is a little more advanced than what it would of been back then. the printing press was one of the most effective tools for spreading ideas.

ReplyDeleteLevi I agree with yours too. Dicatator's are given an enormous amount of responsibilities and pressure that not anyone can handle very well. Very few people can handle it at all actually.

I agree with you. the French were not very happy about that and neither are the Egyptions.
The revolted in Egypt and the Napoleon Empire are some what the same in some ways like how they are fighting on who should be in power and who shouldn't be in power. Like Napoleon and the President of Egypt they both are not well liked in their countys at this time.

History of Guerilla Warfare
ReplyDeleteOne of the oldest recordings of guerilla warfare takes place back when Napoleon sent an invasion force through Spain. There, guerilla fighters would attack his troops from buildings, behind trees, and from holes.
This astonished the Emperor because most European battles were open field fighting. Before that, the Americans used this style on the British which actually led us to Victory because it was unknown to the Europeans.
Later, during WWII all combat styles had changed to this. In the pacific, Japanese soldiers would use boobie traps to take out massive amounts of troops. Same as Vietnam, well, we all know what happened there. Soldiers jumping out of foxholes, hidden machine gun nests etc. And now we even have a lot of Guerilla fighting in our world. The Taliban has small children who will run up in a crowd with a bomb strapped on them etc. Fighting from buildings etc.

i pick the topic about the revolution in Egypt. i think it must be very difficult because they are charging to high of prices on eggs milk and bread.. also they are trying to see if they want a new ruler but they are still pandering on that.
